# ScienceHub > ScienceHub is a public home for computational science. Research is published as marimo notebooks: Python files that anyone can read, run in the browser or on ScienceHub compute, fork, and cite. A project holds notebooks with the outputs they last produced, a version for every save, its authors, and a citation; released versions have DOIs. The home page, Explore, search, topics, profiles, projects and notebooks have a markdown form: add `.md` to the address (`/index.md` for the home page) or send `Accept: text/markdown`. ## Connect an agent - [MCP server](https://sciencehub.sh/mcp): Streamable HTTP. A client signs in with OAuth; one without a browser sends a personal access token from https://sciencehub.sh/settings/tokens as `Authorization: Bearer shp_…`. Tools: whoami, list_research_questions, create_research_question, get_research_question, get_research_source, update_research_question, check_research_question, add_research_source, update_research_source, remove_research_question, search, get_project, get_notebook, create_project, create_notebook, update_notebook, fork_project, start_session, execute_code, stop_session. - [ScienceHub skill](https://sciencehub.sh/skills/sciencehub/SKILL.md): how to search, fork, run and publish here, in Agent Skills format. As a zip: https://sciencehub.sh/skills/sciencehub.zip - [Research with agents](https://sciencehub.sh/docs/agents.md): setup for Claude Code, Codex, OpenResearch and other MCP clients. ## Find work - [Explore research](https://sciencehub.sh/explore.md): public projects, trending first. - [Search](https://sciencehub.sh/search.md?q=climate): words, and qualifiers such as subject:, field:, topic:, owner:, has:doi, sort:stars. - [Subjects](https://sciencehub.sh/subjects): projects by field of science. - [Sitemap](https://sciencehub.sh/sitemap.xml): every public profile, project, notebook and release. ## Keep a question - [Research questions](https://sciencehub.sh/research): private questions, source links, reading state and notes. The research MCP tools use the same records. A paper check sends only the search focus to OpenAlex and returns suggestions, not a complete review. ## Use from code - [Use projects from Python](https://sciencehub.sh/docs/python): call a notebook's functions and read its files, pinned to a version or a DOI release. - [Compute](https://sciencehub.sh/docs/compute): the hardware a notebook asks for in its script header, and what it costs. ## Optional - [Plans](https://sciencehub.sh/pricing): what ScienceHub costs.
